THE SOUNDTRACK OF 2013

I think I rarely post about anything music related in the last half of a year because it's pretty hectic and when I'm stressed I plunged into the world of weird or old stuff like Pale's Too Much if it's sad or Maybe This Time from the musical Cabaret sang by Liza Minnelli if I felt like I need a pat in the back. Plus it's often that the music I most anticipated all released in spring/summer and there's nothing left for me in the fall/winter except holiday songs. But this year is kinda different because there are some interesting releases at the end of the year so, i decided to recap the music (that I listened to mostly or grabbed my attention):

London Grammar is one of my biggest favorite that I've discovered in 2013. Starting Wasting My Young Years, to Darling Are You Gonna Leave Me and then to the whole If You Wait album I've become more and more mesmerized by them. https://soundcloud.com/londongrammar

No doubt that Arctic Monkey's AM is filled with gold. Just pick anything you like, Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High is currently my fav.

We all love Justin (Vernon).

The whole of Beyonce's self-titled album is amazing. My top favorite is Pretty Hurts, followed by Rocket, ***Flawless, Blow, Partition and then the rest. Go listen/watch to all of it because it's good.

Alasannya....gunakan imajinasi pribadi aja yah, bisa aja sakit digigit makhluk asing atau sibuk rapat pertemuan makhluk intergalaktika. [cover (dan remix) itu salah satu tempat untuk nyoba dengar musik dari perspektif lain, menurut gue cover yang asik tuh yang bisa nunjukin sisi yang berbeda dari lagu itu, ini ga mesti lagu rock dibikin mellow semua ya, di remix jadi lagu godek juga bisa kan. eniwei selain itu cover tuh enaknya didenger kalo udah mulai bosen sama versi aslinya. jadi kalo misalnya udah mulai bosen tapi masih suka lagunya, pas banget dengerin versi cover nya untuk ngerefresh rasa cinta lo terhadap lagu tersebut. cover juga bisa bikin inget betapa keren lagu original nya pas lu denger dulu pertama kali, dan bisa bikin pengen denger aslinya lagi. ato bisa juga cover bikin lo suka sama suatu lagu yang tadinya lo ga suka pas dinyanyiin ama penyanyi aslinya. kece kan?]
